Location: St Patrick High School, 2525 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, K1V 7T3 Contractor to completely replace the existing BAS in the entire building, including the addition, with a new BAS. All existing end-devices (pneumatic and DDC) that are not directly compatible with the new BAS will be replaced with new DDC-controlled ones. A new single-user operator workspace is required in an approved location within the building. The new system shall be a scalable platform with remote access via web browsers. Contractor is responsible for pursuing and managing the Save on Energy application process for all applicable incentives and funding programs for new equipment installed in this project. New BAS shall integrate all existing equipment currently under control into a single platform. The existing systems controlled are, but not limited to: ● Cooling tower ● Chiller ● Boilers ● Pumps ● Exhaust/transfer fans ● Make-up air handling units ● Fan coil units ● Autoshop RTU ● Various AHUs located centrally in mechanical penthouse ● Addition RTU ● Lighting ● Domestic hot water heaters ● Other Alarms & Misc. Existing control sequences shall be exported and reinstated to suit the control of existing equipment to remain. Confirm with the consultant and the facility manager whether any upgrades are required during shop drawing preparation. After installation of new equipment, a complete commissioning is required to ensure the system is fully integrated, operational, and confirmed online through the school board’s network.
